About the tour guide Pasang:

I hope ATT really appreciates Pasang for the job he does, for he is the best guide I have ever had. He is very professional, knows the areas and the people we visit to his fingertips and makes good traveling decisions all the time (like for instance the decision of staying at the monasteries instead of camping during the Kailash kora). He is very flexible and does more than his contract tells him to, to make the traveling best for his tourists, a very hard-working and honest person. He is also very knowledgeable, a good teacher- but also humble, willing to discuss and to learn. (Not that, knew much he didn’t…)

And on top of this Pasang has some human qualities that also makes him an excellent guide and traveling companion. He has social intelligence, is sympathetic, talk active, interested in learning about ‘us foreigners’ – and has some communication skills that makes the traveling great not only for me, but also for the driver, the cook and the other people we meet, so, please take care of Pasang, he is a gen.
