Terms and Conditions
The receipt of your deposit and/or final
payment will indicate that you (yourself or your party) have read these
Terms and Conditions, and that you (yourself or on behalf of your party)
have accepted them.
The Terms and Conditions
in the following make up of the contractual relationship between Tibet
Plus Tours International and its clients. It is extraordinarily significant that our clients understand and
accept these Terms and Conditions.
Reservation
1) The confirmed booking will be undertaken and be guaranteed only upon the
receipt of a non-refundable deposit of $50 from you.
2) It is highly recommended that your tour reservation be
made 20 days prior to the actual traveling date. A full payment via your
private way at the time of your last-minute booking made within 7 to
1 day prior to the actual traveling date.
3) Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation
notification from Tibet Plus Tours International.If any conditions should change
after it, Tibet Plus Tours International reserves the right to make changes and provide you with
the similar alternative options.
Payment
As mentioned in "index" page or "home
page", Tibet Plus Tours International is the online travel agency, but
whose mother company is Tibet Century International Travel Service
Department II. Therefore, you deposit money and/or full payment will be in
to the mother company's account as shown below.

3) Your balance is to be due latest 7 days prior to departure.
4) Disregarding any
bank service fee, Tibet Plus Tours International will finally collect from
you the full amount of comfirmed payment when quoting you a price.
Necessary explanation:
whether you proceed the deposit money and/or full payment, or you refund
you money, the bank service fee will be
a)Visa Card or Master Card payment:
1$-5% b)wire transfer payment: $10-$50 per delivery
So, make sure of your full deposit
and/or full payment to us after minus the bank service fee. Furthermore,
We do not accept personal cheque. But if company check, it will take about
45 days for the money to reach us.
Cancellation and Refunds
We regret but understand you have the fair reasons
to cancel your booking or trip. Your refund, minus the cancellation fee, will be credited
to your account within a certain duration as mentioned above in
"Payment" after receiving your
written cancellation request.
The cancellation fee can be
calculated as follows:
No less than 20 days before
departure: $50 as full deposit money will be back to you
Within 20 to 7 days before departure: $40 will be back to you
Within 6 to 3 days before departure: 50% of the full payment will be back
to you.
Within 2 to 0 days before departure: nothing will be back to you.
At all events, your cancellation fee
will be less than or equal to your full payment. No-show travelers will be
charged 100% of the full payment. After the trip has begun, there will be
no refund for unused services due to your early departure, late arrival,
or missed days on tours.
Alteration of
Itinerary
Before your booking has been processed, you still have the opportunity to
alter your itinerary free of charge. After you receive the confirmation
notification and you want to make changes to the itinerary, the alteration fee
is you there is any. Tibet Plus Tours International reserves the right to modify the itinerary
of the tour if air schedule changes and/or
events beyond its control. If such a
situation arises, Tibet Plus Tours International will try its best to keep
the same price and keep the similar arrangement as before. However, if the
surcharge does happens, the tour cost will be
recalculated and charged accordingly. If the arranged tour has to be
changed due to the clients' own wishes, he or she is supposed
to pay for the additional corresponding cost.
Travel Documentation
All clients must be in possession of a valid passport eligible to travel
with common travel agencies to Tibet according to some regulations by
Tibet Tourism Bureau(as for the details please refer to "travel
essentials"). If concealing his or her true occupation when applying
for necessary permits, Tibet Plus Tours International does not hold the
responsibility if he or she is refused to enter Tibet or his/her expense
on these necessary permits. The documentation is as follows:

Health Requirements
Clients should realize the
international travel risk and familiarize themselves with health
requirements applicable to Tibet and the othe areas they intend to visit. The client is
solely responsible for checking the safety and security conditions,
vaccination, and other health requirements of governments in countries
visited or transited. Due to the extreme high altitude, the individual
traveler to Tibet is required to consult a doctor to see if he/she is fit to travel.
Luggage Allowance
In accordance with regulations of
the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China, the free baggage
allowance within China is 20kg for the economy class, 30kg for the
business class, and 40kg for the first class, plus limited carry-on
luggage. Excess baggage charges are the sole responsibility of the clients
themselves.
Regulations within China specify that all suitcases must have a locking
device attached. Failure to follow this regulation may result in refusal
by airport staff to load suitcases onto the aircraft.
Insurance
On top of the travel insurance from
the time of establishiing yourself(yourselves) till the time of saying
good-bye to Tibet, you will be
automatically covered by China Life Tourist Accident/Casualty
Insurance free of charge as an incentive for
your purchasing Tibet Plus Tours International tour packages. However, this insurance is not
applicable to the sole hotel or flight booking.
Communications
You can contact Tibet Plus Tours
International via web form
from www.chinahighlights.com, email, fax, or phone call. If for any
reason, you fail to receive any reply from Tibet Plus Tours International in regard of your tour
status within 48 hours from the time you submitted the request for
booking, modifying, or canceling a tour, you are responsible to contact
Tibet Plus Tours International by calling 0086-891-6551328 immediately.
Complaints and
Claims
Shall you feel unsatisfied with any service Tibet Plus Tours International
has provided, you agree to
notify your local tour guide or your travel agent right away to avoid the
potential similar problems from happening again during your trip.
In the event of a complaint or claim for compensation, you agree to inform
us by email, regular mail, or facsimile in writing within 15 days from the
end of your tour. Relevant receipts and substantiating evidence must be
attached to the letter of claim. Tibet Plus Tours International will
neither be liable for any claims relating to Tibet standard due to its
simple facilities and conditions, nor be liable for any claims made later than 15 days since the completion of your
tour.
Responsibility
Tibet Plus Tours International shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to person,
property in connection with climatic conditions, sea fire, breakdown of
machinery or equipment, acts of government or other authorities, wars
whether or not declared, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts,
epidemics, quarantines, medical or customs regulations, terrorist
activities, or any other actions, omissions or conditions beyond the
control of Tibet Plus Tours International. Neither Tibet Plus Tours
International nor any of its affiliates or subsidiaries shall be or
become liable or responsible for any additional expenses of liability
sustained or incurred by the tour member as a result of any of the
aforementioned causes.
Tibet Plus Tours International shall not be responsible for any wrongful or negligent acts,
omissions, or the failure of any equipment operated by any suppliers such
as transportation carriers, cruise, and hotels, or any other party not
directly owned or controlled by Tibet Plus Tours International.
Tibet Plus Tours International is not responsible for individual traveler's negative
actions while passing the customs.
Tibet Plus Tours International is not responsible for the stolen and lost of valuable items of
tourists because of his/her negligence.
Tibet Plus Tours International reserves the right to substitute hotels, flights, or cruise ships, to
alter itineraries, or to cancel the tour prior to departure. If Tibet Plus
Tours International cancelled any tour prior to the commencement of the tour,
Tibet Plus Tours International is liable
for a full refund of the money received by Tibet Plus Tours International.
Many of Tibet Plus Tours International's tour packages include activities which require attention,
caution and discipline such as climbing onto/out of the boats and up/down
to the hills, entering the exiting ancient tombs or caves, and so on. You
will receive advice and assistance in these activities from your tour
guides, but it is at your own risk to undertake such activities. Tibet
Plus Tours International, its
employees and agents cannot be responsible for participants not having
exercised normal and customary caution, stayed with the group, and/or
heeded the advice and instructions of your tour guides.
Tibet Plus Tours International reserves the right to modify or rescind the terms and conditions in
whole, or in part at any time with or without notice.
