Daily Departure
Prologue
Actually "Daily Departure" is almost the same as "Trip to Mt. Everest". But why we build the web page separately?
The main reason is that we want to make it distinguished from the other itineraries. Marriage ceremony or wedding is especially important but the words of loyalty between couples are much more significant. So we would like to name the tour as "Marriage Declaration" since your words will be remembered by the highest place in the world. You know we have a saying in China between couples that promises will not be changed until rocks are ruined into powder or sea are out of water (Chinese English).
Either of the whole family of the newly married couples or the couples only could follow the tour to declare your marriage in front of Mt. Everest just like you make promise in the church before a priest. And if you need, we may ask some Lamas to witness your marriage in Tibetan traditional way.
itinerary

Day 01---Day 03 the same as "Wonders in and around Lhasa"
Day 04 accommodation: Shigatse Hotel***
Drive about 10 hours covering 350 km to get to Shigatse, the second largest city in Tibet. On the way, there are Yamdrok Lake, Ganbala Mountain Pass (4850 meters above sea level), NyangJinKangsang peak(7130 meters high), and Gyangtse Town's Pelkhor Tschode Monastery and Kumbu Pagoda. 265 km bumpy road on the way. Lunch box is served but dinner is in Shigatse city.
Day 05 accommodation: Tingri Hotel**
After visit Tashilumpu Monastery, forward driving to Tingri (or Shegar). It takes 6 hours to get there covering 250 km. The road is bumpy and dusty. And have to pass a Gyatsola Mountain Pass (5220 meters high). Lunch could be at Lhatse or lunch box. Dinner will be Chinese dishes. Note, Tingri Hotel is the best hotel in the region but poor conditon.
Day 06 accommodation: Tingri Hotel**
Drive further in to the mountains to get to Mt. Everest Base Camp. Today have to get up and leave for Mt. Everest earlier than before. The road condition to the Base Camp is rough, back and forth distance is 220 km which will take 5 hours or even more which depends on the time you spend on the Base Camp
Day 07 accommodation: Shigatse Hotel***
Drive 310 km back to Shigatse, taking 8 hours to get there. On the way visit Sagya Monastery.
Day 08 accommodation: Shangbala Hotel***
Drive along Yurlong Tsangpu Rive about 280km, taking 6 hours to get back to Lhasa. Lunch box on the way and dinner is at Lhasa at your desposal.
Day 09 morning or afternoon flight to exit Tibet
A Flight will take you to exit Tibet to connect your following tour
