Day 01 accommodation: Shangbala Hotel *** |
||||||
| Arrive in Lhasa. Be greeted and offered a white scarf(called Kada) in a Tibet traditional which brings you good luck. And then transfer 100 km away to Lhasa city. School visit on the way. Lunch at Snowland restaurant for a la carte western food. Have a rest for the altitude and later stroll in and around the hotel but not two much activity. Dinner will be Chinese food. |

Day 02 accommodation: Shangbala Hotel*** |

| Today sightseeing in Lhasa city. In the whole morning visit Potala Palace. Chinese dishes for lunch. have a nap for 2 hours, and then go to Jokhang temple and Barchor bazaar. Dinner at Lhasa Kitchen for western food | |||||||

Day 03 accommodation: Shangbala Hotel*** |

| Today again tour inside Lhasa city. Tibet Museum for the whole morning. Lunch is Chinese dishes. Right after lunch, go to Sera Monastery for the visit. And then go for a family visit. Dinner will be Tibetan flavor with sing and dancing. | |||||||

Day 04 accommodation: Gyangtse Hotel*** |
|||||
| Transfer to Gyantse Town via Yamdrok Lake and Ganbala Mountain pass. Upon arrival, visit Pelkhor Tschode Monastery and Kumbu Pagoda. Today lunch box is served on the way. There are 265km bumpy road. Dinner is in Town serving Chinese dishes. |

Day 05 accommodation: Shigatse Hotel*** |

| Onward to Shigatse City. On the way visit Shalu Monastery. Upon arrival, have lunch in the city before check-in. Afternoon visit Tashilumpu Monastery and free market. Dinner is Chinese dishes. Today 90 km drive on the paved road. | |||||||

Day 06 accommodation: Tingri Hotel** |

| Continue driving west to Tingri (or Shegar). It takes 8 hours to get there covering 310 km. The road is bumpy and dusty. And have to pass a Gyatsola Mountain Pass (5220 meters high). On the way visit Sagya Monastery.Lunch could be at Lhatse or lunch box. Dinner will be Chinese dishes. Note, Tingri Hotel is the best hotel in the region but poor condit | |||||||

Day 07 accommodation: Tingri Hotel*** |

| Drive further in to the mountains to get to Mt. Everest Base Camp. The road condition to the Base Camp is rough, back and forth distance is 220 km which will take 5-7 hours depending on the time you spend on the Base Camp of Mt. Everest. Lunch box served, dinner in Tingri after coming back | |||||||

Day 08 accommodation: Zhangmu Hotel*** |

| Drive 6 hours covering 260 km to get to Zhangmu, the border town between Nepla and China. You have a view of Mt. Everest at the foot before and now you could look at it in the distance, and the other higher mountains. The road is still bumpy and dusty but smooth. Lunch box served and dinner is at this quite different town. | |||||||

Day 09 accommodation: Kathmandu |

| go through the formalities of China Customs and over to the other side of Friendship Bridge. Lunch could be had on the way to Kathmandu (quite different food) There are 120 km paved road but the speed is not fast since it is always zigzag road. It will take 5 hours to get to the destination. | |||||||
