Prologue Tibet " Switzerland Views" refer to the area of Nyingchi where the climate is subtropical, rice and bananas are grown, four seasons are seen in the mountains. It is called "Pearl of Tibet Plateau" and it was said to be the views of Switzerland by a tourist coming to this area. The itineraries to this area could be shorter or longer. And you could travel through all this area to see views from all over Tibet if you like. Please go to the other title of "photos tours" 6 nights/ 7 days Day 01 accommodation: Shangbala Hotel ** Arrive in Lhasa. Be greeted and offered a white scarf(called Kada) in a Tibet traditional which brings you good luck. And then transfer 100 km away to Lhasa city. School visit on the way. Lunch at Snowland restaurant for a la carte western food. Have a rest for the altitude and later stroll in and around the hotel but not two much activity. Dinner will be Chinese food. Day 02 accommodation: Shangbala Hotel***or similar class if late booking Today sightseeing in Lhasa city. In the whole morning visit Potala Palace. Chinese dishes for lunch. have a nap for 2 hours, and then go to Jokhang temple and Barchor bazaar. Dinner at Lhasa Kitchen for western food. Day 03 accommodation: Shangbala Hotel*** Today again tour inside Lhasa city. Tibet Museum for the whole morning. Lunch is Chinese dishes. Right after lunch, go to Sera Monastery for the visit. And then go for a family visit. Dinner will be Tibetan flavor with sing and dancing. Day 04 accommodation: Basomtso Hotel Drive about one and half hours to get to Gandan Monastery for a visit. And then onward to Basomtso Lake for 370 km on a well paved road, taking 5 hours. Hopefully you will enjoy the changing views on the way of one road side since when coming back it is the views of the other road side. Lunch is on the way. Upon arrival there, serving dinner. Check in at the best hotel around lake named Basomtso Hotel. Day 05 accommodation: Nyingchi Hotel*** Visit Basomtso Lake and enjoy the beautiful views there in the whole morning. And then leave for Bayi Town, the capital of Nyingchi area. Lunch is in Gongbujiangda Town 90 km away from the lake. And then continue driving about 2 hours to get to Bayi. Upon arriving there, visit a huge pine tree of over thousand years old before dinner in Bayi. After dinner, stroll in the city for the modern city in East Tibet. Day 06 accommodation: Shangbala Hotel*** Driving back to Lhasa city for about 5-6 hours. Lunch is on the way, dinner is in Lhasa for an optional choice of western food, Chinese food, or Tibetan food. 6 nights/ 7 days Day 01----Day 05 just the same as mentioned above except that you do not want to visit Gandan Monastery on the way. Day 06 accommodation: Gyacha County Guesthouse Drive 6-8 hours covering 320 km on a bumpy road to get to Gyacha county. Today's view is just beautiful but the road. Lunch is one the way, but dinner is in Gyacha county. You could have a little more stops for the views. Day 07 accommodation: Tsedang Hotel*** Drive 60 km on the bumpy road to LhamLa Tso Lake for a special views as the lake is for checking Dalai Lamas' or Panchen Lamas' reincarnation of being true or not. And the ChongGuo Monastery which was set up by the second Dalai Lama. And then back to Gyacha county for lunch. After lunch, drive about 200 km again on the bumpy road west to Tsedang city. Dinner is in the city for Chinese dishes Day 08 accommodation: Tsedang Hotel*** Today's visit is to Samye Monastery which is the first one built in 7th century. Lunch box served and dinner is in Tsedang city after the visit and free time. A little driving about 100 back and forth.
