Day01 Fly to Lhasa from Chengdu and acclimatization of High Plateau : school visiting
Day02 Lhasa city sightseeing: Potala Palace, Traditional Tibetan Medicine Center, Sera Monastery
Day03 Lhasa city Sightseeing : Drepung Monastery, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Bazaar
Day04 Lhasa-Tsedang (220KM): Mindroling Monastery (visit traditional way of drawing Thangka), Samye Monastery
Day05 Tsedang sightseeing: Yumbulangkang palace, Trundruk monastery
Day06 Tsedang - Qonggya (30KM) : Tibetan kings tomb, Small Nunnery
Qonggya is the hometown of the 5th Dalai Lama and Songzan Ganpo, mysteriously they are the only two monarchs who united Tibet in the history
Besides the visit to Tibetan Kings Tomb, and the Nunnery, there's a small hill you can also have a hike up for the view.
Day07 Qonggya - Comai (180KM)
This day you won't have specific sightseeing destinations, but the travel itself is enjoyable indeed due to the stunning beautiful views all along the way, we drive on the Zhegu pasture, and will come across the Zhegu lake, occasionally can pull over for a short stop at those unnamed small monasteries, since this area is seldom accessed by tourists, most likely you can see swarm of yaks or deers or other wild lives
Day08 Comai - Loca (200KM)
Today we continue driving on the pasture , this area is also unpopulated and thus keeps its primitive looks, occasionally you can run into some nomadic people who are different from those in big cities , unadorned and shy , with our guide's help you can have a private talk with them to have closest look at what the true " Tibetan" is like
Day09 Sightseeing in Loca : Shangga Gutar Monastery, Meditation Cave
This small town is well known for a legendary meditation monk called Milareba, Shangga Gutar Monastery is built in honor of him, there you can also see his tomb stupa
Close to the town, there's a small mountain where there are many meditation caves including Milareba used to stay and meditated in, hike up and visit the caves
In Loca you can also see a snow-capped mountain called Khula Gangri (7583M)
Day10 Loca - Nanggarz (280KM)
Drive to Nanggarz via the Pumoyong Tso Lake
Day11 Nanggarz- Gyantse : Yamdrok Yum Tso Lake and its bird island, Tzong Castle ruin
Close to Yamdrok Yum Tso lake , you can also go for a visit to a small monastery called Samding Monastery which is unique for having the only female living Buddha
Day12 Gyantse-Shigatse:Shalu Monastery, Tashilumpo Monastery, Free market
Day13 Shigatse-Yampachen-Lhasa: Silver craft workshop, hot spring bath and horse riding at Yampachen
Day14 Lhasa - Chengdu
